RE:
Request that the Board waive the $720 campaign finance late fee assessed against Brian "T-Noon" Bordelon, a candidate for State Representative, 28th Representative District in the October 24, 2015 election, whose 2016 Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 12 days late.
Facts:
Brian Bordelon states the reason the report was filed late was because of an illness of one of the children of his campaign finance manager. The child had to be taken numerous times to Shreveport for her illness. Once the matter of the report was brought to his attention, he states he and his secretary filed the report online with the help of a staff member from the Board of Ethics.
