Request from Vanessa Spinazola to waive the $1,250 late fee assessed for filing a late registration. |

Ms. Spinazola states that, even though she previously lived in Louisiana, she never lobbied during that time. She states that her only lobbying experience was in Nevada. She states that she recently co-founded and will soon be departing from a small consulting firm with two colleagues, called Advocate Louisiana. She states that she is not personally or physically present in Baton Rouge lobbying. She states that on one of the contracts, she does not participate in a legislative capacity at all (The Advocacy Center), and probably did not need to register as a lobbyist. On the other contract (Promise of Justice Initiative), she states that she assists by conducting research, tracking bills, reading newspaper articles, and assisting with communications and messaging. At the beginning of May, she states that she sent a few emails to about a half dozen legislators regarding one bill.
