Charles Theus served on the Board of Commissioners for Southside Economic Development District (SEDD) from September 2015 until January 2017. Mr. Theus has served as the uncompensated Executive Director of SEDD from June 6, 2016 until present. SEDD would now like to hire Mr. Theus as its Executive Director and compensate him for his services.

La. R.S. 42:1121A(2) prohibits a former member of a board or commission from contracting with, being employed in any capacity by, or being appointed to any position by his former board or commission for a period of two years from the date of his resignation.
