Request that the Board waive the $2,500 campaign finance late fee assessed against Alan A. Zaunbrecher, a candidate for District Judge, 22nd Judicial District Court, Division H, in the October 14, 2017 election, his committee's chairperson, Roy K. Burns, and treasurer, Ross Lagarde, whose 180-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 92 days late. |

Ross F. Lagrade, treasurer and attorney for Alan Zaunbrecher, states that the CPA was mistaken that a 180-P report was not due for Mr. Zaunbrecher's campaign because he believed that the Governor had not issued an "election call" at the time the 180-P was due. He states they later determined that the Governor had called the election nine days before the 180-P report deadline. He states that the activity at issue was originally reported on the 90-P report and then moved to the 180-P report after a notice was received.
