F.H. Metz, Jr., MD, Coroner of St. Mary Parish, requested an Advisory Opinion relative to appointing a Deputy Coroner. Metz would like to appoint Lianter Albert, MD, however Albert has two part-time jobs with St. Mary Parish as the Medical Director of the Drug Court and Medical Director of Fairview Treatment Center. Neither of the positions held by Albert are financially affiliated with the Coroner's Office.
