RE:
Request that the Board waive the $2,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against Frank Duson, Jr., in his capacity as a candidate for City Marshal, City Court, Town of Vidalia, Concordia Parish, in the November 8, 2016 election, whose 40-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 257 days late.
Facts:
Frank Duson, Jr., states that the 40-G was late because he was out of town driving a hot shot load for a friend and had some truck trouble. He states this caused him to get back home the next day and he did not have the information to get onto the website. He asks for a waiver because he really doesn't have $2,000.00 to pay the fees.
