The Goodwood Homesites Civic Association (GH Civic Association) is a non-profit organization chartered by the state of Louisiana to promote neighborhood improvement while promoting neighborhood safety and deterring crime. GH Civic Association is a membership organization of neighborhood residents who pay $25.00 annually. The Goodwood Homesites Crime Prevention and Neighborhood Improvement District (GHCPNID) is a quasi-governmental public body established by the Louisiana Legislature in 2015 to deter crime and promote neighborhood beautification. All residents of the neighborhood who are parcel owners are required to pay a mandatory levy as part of annual property tax payments.
