Waiver request submitted by Sally Moreaux, a member of the Allen Parish School Board-District 1, regarding a $500 late fee assessed for filing her 2017-2018 School Board Disclosure Statement 10 days late. |
|
Ms. Moreaux states that school board members are reminded at the beginning of each school year to file these disclosure, but that she was absent due to her grandson breaking his nose. However, the meeting minutes state that she was present at the July and August 2017 meetings. She also states that she was dealing with the recovery of Hurricane Harvey and had family members staying with her.
