Jamie Boudreaux is a Commissioner for the Cameron Parish Library Board. His daughter, Jolie Boudreaux, is interested in applying for the position of Library Director in the event the position becomes vacant. The Library Board is responsible for hiring the Library Director.

La. R.S. 42:1119A(1)(a) provides that no member of the immediate family of an agency head shall be employed in his agency.
La. R.S. 42:1102(3) defines "agency head" to include any member of a board or commission who exercises supervision or jurisdiction over the agency.
La. R.S. 42:1102(13) defines an "immediate family member" to include a public servant's child.
