RE:
Request that the Board waive the $900 campaign finance late fee assessed against Charles Anderson, a candidate for Mayor, City of New Orleans in the October 14, 2017 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 9 days late.
Facts:
Charles Anderson states that he was in a public library filling out his report and thought he hit the submit form button. However, he states he received a letter 9 days later telling him the report was not submitted and filed. He is asking for a waiver or reduction because by the time he received the letter that came via slow mail, 9 days had passed and accrued $900.
