Request that the Board waive $600 campaign finance late fees assessed against Jay Adair, and his committee's chairperson, Bradley Cook, and treasurer, Amy L. Bodet, a candidate for District Judge, 22nd Judicial District Court, Division E, St. Tammany & Washington Parish in the October 14, 2017 election, whose Special (48 Hour) campaign finance disclosure reports was filed 6 days late. |
|
Amy Bodet, Campaign Treasurer for Jay Adair, states she did not physically receive the invoice for the in-kind donation until October 14, 2017 via email. Therefore, she states she could not have filed the report by October 9, 2017 because she was not in possession of the invoices at that time. She states it was her oversight for not reporting the in-kind donation under the Special report once the invoice was received. She states she erroneously based the report on monetary donations and not in-kind donations.
