RE:
Request that the Board waive the $1,300 campaign finance late fee assessed against Craig C. Greene, a candidate for PSC, District 2, EBR Parish, and his committee's chairperson, Thomas A. Greene, and treasurer, Sean Connor, in the October 14, 2017 election, whose Special (48 Hour) campaign finance disclosure report was filed 13 days late.
Facts:
Kimberly Peters, report preparer for Craig Greene, states the in-kind contributions were reported on the 10-G report. She states the timely filing of the contributions was not possible as the information and documentation regarding the amounts of the in-kind contributions were not made available to them until a later date (more than 48 hours after the transaction occurred). She states that all other Special (48 hour) reports were filed timely.
