Stephen M. Gele states that the PAC was instructed by the Campaign Finance Division to follow a different schedule under which the 40-day report would not have been due until December 28, 2017. In accordance with that schedule, Yes On One (1) PAC, Inc. states it had filed 30-P, 10-P and EDE-P reports . Yes One (1) PAC, Inc. states it clearly followed the schedule under which the 40-G day report would be due December 28, 2017 instead of November 27, 2017. He states that as soon as the Louisiana Board of Ethics contacted them correcting its earlier advice that the 40-G day report was due December 28, they filed the 40 Day After Election Report (40 -E) as suggested. Therefore, he states the PAC should not be not be penalized for following the instructions of the staff of the Louisiana Board of Ethics, and in accordance with those instructions following the schedule and the late fee should be waived.

Each candidate for any other public office shall file reports of contributions in excess of two hundred dollars in the aggregate during the aggregating period.
