RE:
Request that the Board waive the $1,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against Envision Gonzales, political action committee, and its committee chairperson, Derrick Coco in the October 14, 2017 proposition election, whose 40-E campaign finance disclosure report was filed 43 days late.
Facts:
Derrick Coco, Chairperson for Envision Gonzales, states that he misunderstood the reporting requirements. He thought that the expenditures of the committee after the October 14, 2017 primary election were to be reported on a supplemental filing, which was due by February 15, 2018 and didn't know he was required to file the 40-E report.
