Acts 182 and 183 removed the affidavit requirement from the disclosures required pursuant to R.S. 42:1123(16) and 42:1111E(2), respectively. The affidavit requirement was replaced with the requirement that the filer certify that the information contained therein is true and correct to the best of his knowledge, information and belief.
Act 200 allows a public servant to receive complimentary admission, lodging and transportation when such would be of direct benefit to the agency or will enhance his knowledge or skill as it relates to the performance of his public service. It also requires a disclosure to be filed within 60 days of the public servant's acceptance.
