Kaye Cupp served as member of the Board of Aldermen for the City of Winnsboro until June 30, 2018. Mayor John Dumas would like to appoint Ms. Cupp as City Clerk, subject to confirmation by the Board of Aldermen. If her appointment as City Clerk is prohibited, Ms. Cupp may be offered a position as a full-time bookkeeper.

La. R.S. 42:1121A(2) prohibits a former member of a board or commission from contracting with, being employed in any capacity by, or being appointed to any position by his former board or commission for a period of two years from the date of his resignation.
