This opinion was presented in a hypothetical requesting advice on whether a violation of the Code of Governmental Ethics would occur if a member of the medical staff of the hospital was appointed to serve as a member of the Hospital Service District Board. Mr. Duhon withdrew the request and stated that the Board is going a different direction.
