Dawn Sonnier is currently employed as an occupational therapist with the Livingston Parish School Board. She is interested in also serving as an American Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee (AOTPAC) Region III Director, or as the Chairperson of the AOTPAC.
The duties of the AOTPAC Region III Director include participating in fundraising, directing contributions to candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, and advocating for political action regarding issues that affect the occupational therapy profession and the healthcare field in general.
