Archie Chaisson has signed the consent order agreeing that he violated La. R.S. 42:1119D and paid in full the $1,500 penalty the Board imposed upon him.

La. R.S. 42:1119B(1) provides that no member of the immediate family of a member of a governing authority or the chief executive of a governmental entity shall be employed by the governmental entity.
La. R.S. 42:1119D provides that a willful violation of this Section shall subject the agency head, member of the governing authority, the public employee having authority to hire and fire the employee, the immediate supervisor of the employee, whether or not such persons are immediate family members of the employee, and such employee, to disciplinary action and penalties provided by this Chapter.
