Judge Arthur L. Hunter currently serves as a judge in Criminal District Court in Orleans Parish. Judge Hunter started the Allen Ray Bolin Trial Advocacy Workshop, a trial advocacy program which teaches high school students how to present a case from opening statement to closing argument in a courtroom setting. The Allen Ray Bolin Trial Advocacy Workshop is not a 501(c) corporation and is not associated with the Criminal District Court in Orleans Parish. Judge Hunter created the program as a community outreach for high school students to enhance their academic skills and career development. There are costs associated with the program such as binders, printing, trophies, photography, and transportation to the Louisiana State Penitentiary for a field trip.

La. R.S.18:1505.2I provides that campaign funds may not be used for any personal use unrelated to the candidate's campaign or his holding of public office.
