Request that the Board reconsider waiving the $2,000 campaign finance late fee assessed against Kenneth P. Facts:
Waiver Request

Kenneth Garrett, Sr. states that he filed the 2017 supplemental report on time and was later notified of a calculation error on his report. He requested an appointment to review the miscalculations. He states that he was told someone would get back in touch with him. Next, he says he received a letter from the Louisiana Board of Ethics notifying him of late charges assessed.

Mr. Garrett requested that the Board reconsider waiving the $2,000 civil penalty because he is on a very limited income and it would cause him serious financial hardship. He also has medical issues and would like to Board to consider his entire financial and medical circumstances.
