Justice Layton Westerburg has been employed by the Ouachita Parish School Board since August 2015 as a paraprofessional assisting visually impaired students. Mr. Westerburg is assigned to Riverbend Elementary School in West Monroe and works in the Extended School Year Program (ESY) for students with disabilities.
Angela Westerburg is the mother of Justice Westerburg and is an Elementary Special Education Supervisor for the Ouachita Parish School Board and was recently assigned the duty to coordinate the ESY Program for the first time this summer, 2019.
Ms. Westerburg has submitted a Disqualification Plan whereby Leah Biley and Amy Malone, employees of the Ouachita Parish School Board, will have all direct supervisory duties and/or authority as to matters affecting Justice Layton Westerburg's employment with the ESY Program.

La. R.S. 42:1112B(1) prohibits a public servant, except as provided in R.S. 42:1120, from participating in a transaction involving the governmental entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any member of his immediate family would have a substantial economic interest.

Accept and adopt the proposed disqualification plan.
