RE:
Waiver request submitted by Joel W. Clement, with the Sherwood Forest Crime Prevention and Neighborhood Improvement District, regarding a $1500 late fee assessed for filing his 2016 Tier 2.1 annual pfd 76 days late.
Facts:
Mr. Clement was required to file his 2016 PFD on or before 5/15/2017. However, Mr. Clement states that his board is no longer required to file based on the amendment to R.S. 42:1124.2.1 since his board does not expend, disburse or invest $500,000 or more in funds. According to the legislative Auditor report, this is correct, making the 2017 PFD his final filing. Mr. Clement has filed his 2017 PFD. The 2016 PFD was still required to be filed.
