Bryan Duhon is employed with the First Ward Drainage District ("Drainage District") in Acadia Parish. Mr. Duhon would like to serve on the Board of Commissioners of the Drainage District. As provided by La. R.S. 38:1758, the Drainage District is governed by five commissioners appointed by the Acadia Parish Police Jury.

La. R.S. 42:1113B prohibits a member of any board or commission from bidding on or entering into or being in any way interested in any contract, subcontract, or other transaction which is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the agency of such appointed member.
