David Cook was employed by the Orleans Parish School Board for 24 years until June of 2018 when he was terminated under a reduction in force policy. Mr. Cook began work for the East Bank Collaborative (a network of charter schools) to provide services as a Network Engineer. In November 2019, Mr. Cook was eligible to retire under TRSL, however he would like to retain his position with the East Bank Collaborative.

Decline to render an opinion as this matter does not present an issue under the Ethics Code and refer Mr. Cook to the Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana.
