After 10 days in the trauma unit at University Hospital, Ms. Morial stated she underwent a month of on-site physical therapy at the Touro Rehabilitation Unit. After being discharged, Ms. Morial stated she was confined to a wheelchair for a few weeks, then transitioned to a walker, and then eventually a cane.
