Request to waive the $1,400 late fee assessed against Alexis Schlatre for filing her 2020 lobbying registration 28 days late. |
|
Mrs. Schlatre states that she is the Executive Director for an organization called Solutions Through Science that represents the chlorine manufacturers in the State. She states that lobbying is a small part of her duties and that the majority of the lobbying for the organization is covered by an outside lobbyist. She states that this year she registered again on February 3, 2020 in anticipation of the 2020 Legislative Session, and she mistakenly put January 1, 2020 as her first action date. She states that she hasn't had any expenditures related to lobbying this year and her error was based on inexperience with the process. Mrs. Schlatre completed her online portion and paid for her registration on February 3, 2020. Mrs. Schlatre has amended her first action date and her representation date to February 3, 2020 for Solutions through Science so her profile is consistent with her registration payment.
