Jeffery Carmouche is currently employed by the Rapides Soil and Water Conservation District. His duties are in the environmental compliance arena and he works with the Louisiana National Guard. On July 20, 2020, Mr. Carmouche qualified as a candidate for City Marshal in Marksville. Mr. Carmouche stated that he intends to resign from his employment in the event he is elected as Marksville City Marshal. Mr. Carmouche further stated that he understands that he must campaign outside of his normal working hours or take annual leave.
