Mr. Toepfer filed his Executive ER-07/11 lobbying expenditure report that was due by August 25, 2011, four days late on August 29, 2011. He was assessed a late fee of $200. Mr. Toepfer states that he resigned from his position at Novo Nordisk on August 8, 2011 and within 24 hours his company e-mail address was disabled. He was under the impression that Novo Nordisk would notify us of his termination and was not aware that we had not been notified and that no report for July had been filed. Once he received the certified letter from our office, he filed the report.
