Request that the Board waive the $720 late fee assessed against Hosie Collins, a candidate for Sheriff of Red River Parish in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 12 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $720 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 30-P campaign finance report, Hosie Collins states that he received no contributions or had any disbursements in connection with his campaign. He further states that this is his first campaign and failing to timely file his report was a mere oversight. Mr. Collins is a district level candidate. He was a successful candidate.
