In connection with her request for a waiver of the $660 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 30-P campaign finance disclosure report, Melissa Ficklin Clark states that she is a first time candidate who was unfamiliar with the filing requirements regarding her 30-P report. She further states that due to her decision to run for Sheriff of St. Helena Parish, she had to take a leave of absence from her present position with the St. Helena Parish Sheriff's office; therefore, she is unable to pay the late fee.
