Request that the Board waive the $480 campaign finance late fee assessed against James Ronald "Ron" Eldridge, a candidate for State Representative, District 90, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 30-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 8 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $480 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 30-P campaign finance report, James Ronald "Ron" Eldridge, states that his report was mailed on September 16, 2011. On September 30th, he could not find the report on the website, and called the Campaign Finance division and was told that the report had not been received. He maintains that he immediately faxed over a copy of his report. Mr. Eldridge is a district level candidate. This is his first election. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
