Donna Smith is the Office Manager of the West Monroe Office of Motor Vehicles in Ouachita Parish. She would like to resign from this position and apply to the Office of Motor Vehicles for permission to open an Auto Title Company and Public Tag Agency. Ms. Smith would like to operate this business Lincoln Parish as there is no Public Tag Agency in that parish or the surrounding area.

R.S. 42:1121B prohibits a public servant, for a period of two years following termination of employment, from assisting another person in a transaction in which the public servant participated, or from rendering any service he rendered to the agency during his public employment on a contractual basis to his former agency.
