RE:
Request that the Board waive the $1,400 late fee assessed against NOBLE PAC, a political committee whose 90-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 7 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $1,400 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 90-P campaign finance report, Noble Ellington states that he was unaware of the committee's requirement to file a 90-P campaign finance disclosure report. The committee made a contribution to Commissioner Mike Strain in 2010. Rep. Ellington states that the day the report is due or the day that it is submitted late should not be counted; and, therefore, the political committee was only 6 days late in its filing.
