RE:
Request that the Board waive the $60 late fee assessed against Joel Morgan, a candidate for State Representative, 86th District, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 10-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 1 day late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $60 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 10-P campaign finance report, Joel Morgan states that his report was untimely filed due to an error caused by his Macintosh computer. He further states that until receipt of notice from the Campaign Finance division, he was unaware that the report did not go through when it was originally filed. Upon receipt of notice from the Campaign Finance division, the report was immediately filed. Mr. Morgan is a district level candidate. This is his second campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
