The Iberia Parish Council is the appointing authority for the Board of Commissioners Iberia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1. If certain individuals are appointed, the following relationships would exist: a brother and sister and brothers-in-law.

La. R.S. 42:1113B of the Code prohibits an appointed member of a board or commission or his immediate family member from entering into, or being in any way interested in, a transaction that is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the public servant's agency.
