In connection with his request for a waiver of the $1,680, $480, and $360 late fees assessed for the late filings of the 30-P, 10-P, and EDE-P campaign finance reports, Weber Lee Deshotels, Jr. states that he cannot afford to pay the $2,520 in late fees. He has been on medical leave since November of 2008 due to a fall he sustained when he fell out of his wheelchair. He is a paraplegic and has had diabetes since 1995. He asks that the Board try to help him if possible. Mr. Deshotels is a district level candidate. This is his fourth campaign.
