Request that the Board waive the $420 campaign finance late fees assessed against Greg Green, a candidate for St. Mary Parish Council, District 11, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 7 days late. |
|
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $420 late fee assessed for the late filing of the EDE-P campaign finance report, Greg Green, states that his wife prepared all of his reports. He further states that she believed that because he did not win or collect any additional monies, an election day expense report was not required. He maintains that he was unaware of the rule stating all reports must be filed. Mr. Green is a district level candidate. This is his first campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
