Request that the Board waive the $180 campaign finance late fee assessed against Keith Ford, a candidate for Sheriff of Tangipohoa Parish in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 3 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $180 late fee assessed for the late filing of the 10-G campaign finance report, Keith Ford states that he has timely mailed all of his reports, and feels that it is not his fault that the post office did not postmark his envelope in which his 10-G report was mailed. Mr. Ford is a district level candidate. This is his first campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate
