RE:
Request that the Board waive the $240 campaign finance late fee assessed against Anthony Emmons, a candidate for State Representative, 42nd District in the October 22, 2011 election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 4 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $240 late fee assessed for the late filing of the EDE-P campaign finance report, Anthony Emmons, states that he is a first time candidate who was unaware of the requirement to file an EDE-P report. Since he did not report any expenditures on the October 22, 2011 election date, he believed that a report was not required. Mr. Emmons is a district level candidate. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
