In connection with her request for a waiver of the $280, and $400 late fees assessed for the late filings of an EDE-P, and 10-G campaign finance reports, Cynthia W. Thomas states her reports were untimely filed due to emotional stress she and her family were under during the month of August following the violent and tragic death her sister's son. She further states that upon receipt of notice from the Campaign Finance division, the reports were immediately filed. Ms. Thomas has provided documentation verifying the passing of her nephew. Ms. Thomas is an "any other" level candidate. This is her second campaign. She was an unsuccessful candidate.
