Request that the Board waive the $1,000,$400, $400, $400 and $360 campaign finance late fees assessed against Ralph Coleman, a candidate for East Carroll Parish Police Juror, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 30-P, 10-P, EDE-P, 10-G, and EDE-G campaign finance disclosure reports were filed 77, 57, 37, 29, and 9 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $1,000,$400, $400, $400 and $360 late fees assessed for the late filings of the 30-P,10-P, EDE-P, 10-G, and EDE-G campaign finance reports, Ralph Coleman, states that he ran his campaign on a small budget. He further states that he currently receives $550 per month social security and his juror's salary is $800 per month. He maintains that he is unable to pay the late fees in full with one payment. He ask that the late fees be waived or reduced. If the Board is unable to waive or reduce the amount of the late fees, Mr. Coleman states that he would like a payment plan of $200 per month until paid in full. Mr. Coleman is an "any other" level candidate. This is his eighth campaign. He was a successful candidate.
