Request that the Board waive the $100 campaign finance late fee assessed against David Blanchard, a candidate for Governor, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 1 day late. |
|
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $100 late fee assessed for the late filing of an EDE-P campaign finance report, David Blanchard, states that his report was filed untimely because he was out of town on All Saint's Day, a religious holiday, to visit the grave site of his late father-in-law whose birthday coincide with the feast day. Mr. Blanchard is a major level candidate. This is his first campaign.
