In connection with his request for a waiver of the $760 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 40-G campaign finance report, Norris Babin, on behalf of the committee, states that he kept a copy of the envelope with the metered postage. He further states that he did not send the report certified mail because he assumed that the report would arrive in time. He further states that the committee only participated in the October 22, 2011 election and does not anticipate any further activity.
