Request that the Board waive the $600 campaign finance late fee assessed against Nary Smith, Sr., a candidate for State Representative, District 96, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 10-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 14 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $600 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 10-P campaign finance report, Nary Smith, Sr., states that he is a first time candidate who did not have anyone to assist him with the filing of his reports. He further stated that he had problems with expenditures, collecting the names/address of recipients, dates, etc. Mr. Smith is a district level candidate. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
