RE:
Request that the Board waive the $600 campaign finance late fee assessed against Cleveland W. Womack, a candidate for State Representative, District 20, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose 10-G campaign finance disclosure report was filed 10 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $600 late fee assessed for the late filing of a 10-G campaign finance report, Cleveland W. Womack, states that he believed that he filed his report. It was not until he received notice from the Campaign Finance division that he realized that the report had not been filed. He maintains that he made a mistake in believing that he had already filed the report and ask that the Board waive the late fee. Mr. Womack is a district level candidate. This is his third campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
