RE:
Request that the Board waive the $300 campaign finance late fee assessed against Jeffrey Todd Spangler, a candidate for Winn Parish Assessor, in the October 22, 2011 election, whose EDE-P campaign finance disclosure report was filed 5 days late.
Facts:
In connection with his request for a waiver of the $300 late fee assessed for the late filing of an EDE-P campaign finance report, Jeffrey Todd Spangler states that all reports required of him were filed at the correct times, except for this report. He maintains that the late filing of his report was an oversight by his office and was filed as soon as he realized the mistake. Mr. Spanger is a district level candidate. This is his first campaign. He was an unsuccessful candidate.
