Quint Liner, Fire Chief for the Terrebonne Parish Fire District #10 (District Fire Board) states that the Bayou DuLarge Volunteer Fire Company provides volunteers to help with emergencies in the Terrebonne Parish District #10 protection area. The Terrebonne Parish Fire District collects taxes to provide training, trucks, equipment, man power to both Terrebonne Parish Fire District and Bayou DuLarge.

Section 1113 of the Code prohibits an appointed member of a board or commission or member of his immediate family from entering into a contract, subcontract, or being in any way interested in any transaction that is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the appointed members agency.
Transaction involving the governmental entity is defined as any proceeding, hearing, application, submission, request for a ruling, or other determination contract, claim, case, or other such particular matter which the public servant knows is or will be the subject of action by the governmental entity.
