Request that the Board waive the $420 campaign finance late fee assessed against Terry A. Doughty, a candidate for Judge, 5th JDC, Div. A, in the October 4, 2008 election, whose Supplemental campaign finance disclosure report was filed 7 days late. |

In connection with his request for a waiver of the $420 late fee assessed for the late filing of a Supplemental campaign finance report, A. C. Clark, III, on behalf of the candidate states that his office is responsible for filing the candidate's reports. He further states that the late filing of the report was an oversight on his part. Mr. Clark maintains that during the time that the report was due, an employee responsible for filing the report terminated employment on February 10, 2012. He further states that he failed to realize that the report was not timely filed. Mr. Doughty is a district level candidate. This is his first campaign. He was a successful candidate.
