| Advisory opinion regarding whether a part-time case-worker for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Mary Gray, may accept part-time employment with DCFS. |

Mary Gray states that she is a current part-time rehired retiree for DCFS in the Continuing Quality Improvement (CQI) unit of the Child Welfare Department. She completes second level quality assurance reviews for the program improvement plan by reviewing cases after they have been completed by case workers. She works on one project with no supervisory responsibility. Ms. Gray would like to pursue a contract with DCFS where she will train and coach support staff and assist supervisors with professional development plans for new hires in the Child welfare training department. The contract will be administered by NorthWestern University and will serve the Child Welfare training department.
